Our software allows you to link HTML description texts directly to the shipping methods offered in the online shop and display them during the checkout process. This feature enhances your OXID eShop in the sense that you can inform your customers more comprehensively about the further course at a critical point of the order process.

This can help increase the conversion rate of your shop system by avoiding potential abandonments at this point.

Oxid Module: Shipping Methods HTML Long Text Description

OXID eShop offers you in the shop administration the function to create different shipping methods and to combine them with payment methods and shipping rules. However, in the OXID eShop standard shop there are only few possibilities how to create these shipping types individually.

In the standard system, only the title/description field is available, which allows you to display text in the order process. Further data fields are not provided in a standard installation of OXID eShop.

Our OXID module targets exactly this point and allows the OXID eShop administrator to assign a CMS page to a shipping method and to change the display format of the shipping methods from a selection list to a checkbox list. This allows your customers to see the different shipping methods at a glance.

In addition, the HTML description text is displayed under the shipping method title to provide additional explanation of the shipping method, so that your customers can easily make a selection without having to go to another page to find out about the shipping methods beforehand.

These features allow you to provide your customers with comprehensive information at a critical point in the ordering process and make it easier for them to make a decision.

All Netensio 30-day trial versions that you purchase in the official online shop at Netensio .de are absolutely free of charge for you. They are provided as a download. Depending on the network operator, costs may be incurred for the download transfer; please refer to your contract documents.
