With this extension you have the possibility to assign successor products in your OXID eShop to products that will soon be discontinued or have already been discontinued by means of the OXID eShop Administration.
These successor products are displayed in the product description under the cross-selling and accessories area of the product concerned on its product detail page and are thus directly related to the discontinued product.
Integrating this functionality into your OXID eShop allows you to immediately point out alternatives to customers who are interested in a product that will soon no longer be available, thus promoting the sale of successor products.
