What does the Netensio SEO Title Module for OXID eShop do?

The Netensio SEO Title Module for OXID eShop allows you to freely choose the name and title of articles, categories and CMS pages and to generate detailed page titles that are not dependent on the previous name of articles, categories or CMS pages. This gives you all the freedom you need to create meaningful titles.

The OXID eShop module allows you to effortlessly create search engine optimised titles for your shop pages to make it easier for users to find them via search engines. This is particularly useful as the standard version of OXID eShop does not offer any options for optimising page titles.

Our OXID SEO module "Seotitle for OXID eShop" therefore provides you with one additional input field each for categories, articles and CMS pages as an alternative to the standard page title to improve your search result display. The use of this software extension is therefore essential to improve the search engine ranking of your pages.

In addition to the possibility of creating search engine optimised titles for your shop pages, our OXID eShop module also offers a user-friendly mask for maintaining your data. This makes it easier to manage and adjust titles and other information.

To give you full control over the title length, we have also included a convenient letter counter that shows you how many letters you can still enter as you type the title. This letter counter is also displayed in each "SEO" tab of the OXID Administration to show you the length of the META description.

This preview helps you to adjust your titles and META descriptions even better to the requirements of search engines and the users in order to improve the search engine ranking of your pages and to direct more traffic to your pages.

How does the module work?

If you have entered an SEO title for an article, category or CMS page via our OXID eShop module, it will be used instead of the normal OXID page title. If you have not entered an SEO title at a certain point, OXID will use the default title for the corresponding item.

The module also supports the title prefix and title suffix provided by OXID. In our introductory video for the OXID eShop module, we explain the functions of this module in detail and show you how to best use it.

Which OXID version does the module require?

Our OXID eShop module is compatible with all editions of OXID eShop and all versions from 4.6.X onwards, including the new OXID eShop version 7.X.X. The installation of the module does not require any programming knowledge. For more information on the installation, please see our installation guide.

Please note that there may be restrictions or requirements regarding compatibility with certain versions of OXID eShop or extensions. We therefore recommend that you ensure that the module is compatible with your current OXID eShop environment before installing it.
