OXID eShop Module: Call2Action PopUp on inactivity

The extension ensures that attention is generated when a visitor remains inactive on a page of the OXID eShop for a defined number of seconds. After this time has elapsed, a pop-up window opens with freely definable content.

Some advantages of this extension are:

• Increased attention: the pop-up window will catch the visitor's eye at a moment when they might otherwise be inattentive.
• Flexible content: The content of the pop-up window can be designed according to the user's wishes and can thus be tailored to the needs and interests of the target group.
• Increasing the conversion rate: The ability to specifically address the needs and interests of the target group can increase the shop's conversion rate.
• Individualisation: The screen pop can be adapted to the visual appearance of the shop to achieve a uniform appearance.
• Analysis options: By integrating tracking tools, visitor behaviour can be analysed and screen pops can be adapted accordingly.

It is possible to change the content of the window via a CMS page. To ensure that the screen pop is not displayed every time the visitor is inactive, there is an option to deactivate the screen pop for the rest of the session after the first display.

This gives visitors the option to prevent the pop-up from appearing for the rest of their session.
